Mozart's The Magic Flute, in conjunction with Garsington Opera Studio Programme
Mozart's "The Magic Flute"
Opera in Two Acts
Sung in English
Every new production of this familiar opera brings forth new insights into one of the most elaborate Mozart operas.
This production is the first collaboration between Garsington Studio Programme and West Green House Opera, which is an exciting new venture for both companies. This fully staged production presents some of Garsington Opera's best and brightest young singers now at the start of their professional careers in an entirely new production commissioned for this season.
It has been said that The Magic Flute "is the only opera in existence that might have conceivably been written by God" with perhaps opera's most astonishing aria, its quirky tunes, alongside humour, tragedy and a story encompassing both pure and earthly love.
