Become a Friend of West Green House Garden

A garden over the season paints a continuous series of pictures beginning here, in the garden at West Green House, with lawns white with snow drops in February, the crocus and specie Tulips in March and then the beginning of one of the garden's most magnificent stories... the thousands of daffodils that carpet the lake field until May.

May also is the month for the 190m serpertine of Saberica Iris, and June see’s every wall decorated in masses of roses. Perennials in moody blues to smudgy pinks peak in July whilst the vegetable gardens planted as potagers start the crescendo of colour that last till the first hint of winter. As a Friend of the Garden we invite you to witness this every changing spectacle and enjoying the garden in all its moods.

The gardens re-open on Saturday 7 April until Sunday 30 September on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between 11am - 4.30pm, except on Music and Opera days where times will vary.

Weekend 28 & 29 April, 11am – 4.30pm
"Les Tresors du Jardins", a market of garden antiques and collectables.

Sunday 20 May, Mr Gilbert & Mr Sullivan's "Patience", 3-5pm, pre-booking essential.
