The garden will be open to the public in 2012 between Easter Saturday, 8 April and Sunday 30 September from 11.00am to 4.30pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, except on Music and Opera days when times will vary.
Garden entry is £8.00 per person, children (school age) £4.00 per person, free to National Trust members.
No dogs allowed.
The majority of the West Green House garden is flat and suitable for persons with walking difficulties, however the Lake Field parkland has uneven surfaces.
Our tea room will serve morning coffee or tea with a selection of cakes and biscuits or a sumptuous special afternoon tea served on a triple decker stand.
Lunches are all prepared from the organic vegetables grown in West Green House potager - thus the menu changes with the seasons.
A few examples of what you can expect to find: an asparagus tart served with in-season salad, a Mediterranean vegetable quiche, a chicken ceasar salad or homemade soups, a speciality served with crusty fresh bread.
