In the Greenhouse and Garden by October the autumn garden is thinking of fading, but you can continue its fascination by growing those weird and wonderful verities of gourds, pumpkins and squash creating an interesting Halloween garden.

With Simon, learn about timing and growing the unusual pumpkin verities, plus the late autumn flowers and crops that work so well beside them. There are multiple types of sunflowers from fluffy dwarf ‘Teddy Bear’ to the giant Russians, trailing nasturtiums, and frilly kales, all plants to bring the wow back to the garden and intrigue the children.
