To achieve this Derry Watkins Special Plants nursery will supply a most striking large black leaf scarlet summer flowered Canna “Tropicana Black” as the centrepiece to a group of small red Dahlias and white Annuals in twelve identical pots in this garden. The new planting for the “Chicken Garden” pots will be placed out in May. Billowing from ginger jars will be a collection of tall ethereal plants using Angelica, Cleome, Cosmos, Nicotiana and Fennel channeling the the planting I saw in Stephen Anderton’s garden last summer.
